India: Sponge iron offers rise slightly in Bellary, Karnataka

  • 1,900 t of pellet-based sponge iron (PDRI) deals were confirmed at INR 35,500-35,700/t exw against offers at INR 35,700/t exw.
  • About 900 t of iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) deals were reported at INR 36,300-36,500/t exw.
  • The market remained firm today as plenty of orders had already been placed yesterday.
