Pellet-based sponge iron (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by INR 50/t on 7 Apr’22, However, sponge C-DRI prices continued to stay flat.
- Around 2,200 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 36,350-36,500/t exw
- CDRI prices are at INR 37,500/t exw and 1,450 t of deals were reported today.
- Market participants are waiting for clearer price directions, while buyers are expecting further price correction.
