Sponge iron PDRI (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary rose by up to INR 500/t while iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices increased by 350/t on 3 August.
- PDRI deals of 5,750 t were confirmed at INR 34,700-35,000/t exw against offer at INR 35,000/t exw.
- CDRI prices stand at INR 35,950/t exw and around 3,650 t deals were reported today.
- Active bookings in sponge iron from western and southern region buyers led to the rise in offers today.
