India: Sponge iron offers fall slightly in Bellary, Karnataka

Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), and iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary decreased by INR 150/t on 15 June’22.

• About 1,500 t of PDRI deals were confirmed at INR 32,000-32,100/t exw against offers at INR 32,500/t exw.
• SteelMint’s assessment for CDRI stands at INR 32,650/t exw. About 1,100 t CDRI deals were reported.
