Sponge iron, PDRI (FeM 80%), prices in Karnataka’s Bellary fell by INR 1,450/t, whereas iron ore-based DRI (CDRI) prices declined by INR 1,500/t on 15 Mar’22. Low buying interest ahead of Holi festival resulted in a sharp fall in prices.

- SteelMint’s assessment for CDRI stands at INR 38,300/t ($501/t) and around 500 t of deals were reported.
