India’s sponge iron export offers rose further by $2-5/t w-o-w to $352/t CPT Raxaul for Nepal and $354/t CPT Benapole for Bangladesh. Despite the price increase, buyers exhibited caution due to weaker finished steel movement, which limited bulk orders. However, deals of approximately 4,000 t were concluded, reflecting moderate activity in exports to both Nepal and Bangladesh.
