India: Sponge iron export offers stay strong in recent deals

SteelMint’s sponge iron (FeM 80%, lumps 100%) export price assessment rose $5/t to around $515/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $545/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh. About 5,000 t deals were reported this week.

• Offers to Nepal remain stable at $495/t loaded on to rake, equivalent to $520/t CPT Nepal.
