India’s sponge iron export offers exhibited mixed sentiments w-o-w, amid limited buying interest, influenced by softening domestic sponge iron prices, as per BigMint’s weekly assessment.
- Nepal: Export offers declined marginally by $1/t, settling at $346/t CPT Raxaul. Approximately 2,500 t of sponge iron were booked.
- Bangladesh: Offers rose slightly by $2/t, reaching $352/t CPT Benapole. Around 1,500 t were booked for delivery to Bangladesh.
