India’s sponge iron export offers remained firm w-o-w on 27 Feb’26, despite weak buying interest from Bangladesh, as per BigMint’s weekly assessment. Offers to Nepal were steady at $335/t CPT Raxaul, while Bangladesh prices edged up by $1/t to $345/t CPT Benapole. Participants reported muted enquiries from Bangladesh, while Nepal witnessed few bookings. Around 3,000 t were traded during the week, all destined for Nepal.
