Sponge iron export prices saw a notable decline of $10-19/t w-o-w, to $361/t CPT Raxaul for Nepal and $360/t CPT Benapole for Bangladesh, amid modest buying at varying offers. Buyers exhibited caution due to subdued domestic steel demand and prevailing uncertainty in the global steel market. Deals of approximately 6,500 t were concluded, destined for Nepal and Bangladesh.
