Sponge iron export offers have fallen this week due to a significant decline in domestic sponge iron prices. Prices for Nepal decreased $5/t, settling at $403/t CPT for FeM 80% (70:30 mix). Offers for Bangladesh fell by $6/t to $406/t CPT Benapole. Around 5,000 t of sponge deals were concluded for Nepal amid weak demand, while just 1,000 t of deals were recorded for Bangladesh.
