India: Sponge iron export offers fall further on declining domestic offers

Sponge iron (FeM 80%, 100% lump) export prices to Bangladesh fell by $10/t to $490/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $520/t CFR Chittagong, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. About 10,000 t of deals were reported this week in the range of $480-490/t CPT.
Prices fell due to a decline in domestic prices by INR 1,000/t ($13), w-o-w, on weak demand and decreasing raw material prices.
