Indian sponge iron export offers to Nepal experienced a marginal decline of $4/t w-o-w to $384/t CPT Raxaul, driven by reduced market activity due to the festive holidays and weaker demand for finished steel. However, offers to Bangladesh remained firm at $397/t CPT Benapole. Deals of around 3,500 t of sponge iron were concluded, for both Nepal and Bangladesh.
