India’s sponge iron export market remained under slight pressure this week on persistent domestic downtrend. Export offers to Nepal slipped by $1/t to $329/t CPT Raxaul, while offers to Bangladesh declined by $3/t, settling at $339/t CPT Benapole, according to BigMint’s weekly assessment. Buying activity was limited, about 4,500 t of sponge iron deals were concluded for Nepal and Bangladesh.
