India’s sponge iron export offers saw a decline this week.
- Offers to Nepal dropped by $8/t w-o-w to $347/t CPT Raxaul. However, demand remained muted from Nepal, despite price correction.
- Offers to Bangladesh declined by $10/t, reaching $350/t CPT Benapole. This prompted an uptick in demand and inquiries.
Approximately 21,000 t of deals were concluded within the range of $348-355/t CPT Benapole.
