- India’s sponge iron (FeM 80%, 100% lump) export prices to Bangladesh fell by $25/t to $490/t CPT Benapole, equivalent to $520/t CFR Chittagong, Bangladesh, as per SteelMint’s weekly assessment. About 20,000 t of deals were reported this week at $480-490/t CPT.
- Prices edged down due to a correction in domestic prices by INR 2,000/t ($26/t), w-o-w, on weak demand and fall in pellet prices.
