India: South Region mills actively book imported HMS due to low domestic availability

Indian mills in some regions began active imports of scrap amid low domestic-scrap generation and improving demand. In south-region, Tamil-Nadu mills have collectively booked over 60,000MT of imported HMS1&2(80:20) from Brazil and other origins, in last couple of weeks, with some deals at USD245-250/MT CFR Chennai for HMS1&2(80:20), while fresh offers have now breached USD265/MT CFR
