South African thermal coal prices fell w-o-w. RB2 dropped INR 300/t to INR 8,000/t and RB3 fell INR 200/t to INR 7,000/t, exw-Vizag. RB2 was at INR 8,200/t and RB3 at INR 7,100/t, exw-Gangavaram, both down INR 100/t. With the upcoming GST shift and INR 400/t cess burden, traders rushed to liquidate stocks before the 22 Sep deadline. Trade was muted, with uncertain offers.
