India: South African RB3 coal sold at INR 16,200/t at Gangavaram Port

In a confirmed deal, 2,500 t of South African RB3 (4800 NAR) grade coal was booked at INR 16,200/t at Gangavaram Port. An another deal of 2,000 t of RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) coal was concluded at INR 18,000/t at Vizag Port. Imported RB3 prices have risen by $10/t w-o-w to $170/t, FOB basis, while RB2 prices rose by $55/t w-o-w to $255/t FOB.
