India: South African RB3 coal sold at INR 15,600/t at Paradip Port

In a confirmed deal, 15,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 NAR) was booked at INR 15,600/t at Paradip Port, while prices of the same at Vizag and Gangavaram ports were assessed at INR 16,000/t with small parcel deals taking place at these rates. Low-CV South African coal demand continues to remain strong amongst sponge iron manufacturers with the steady pace of the rise in sponge iron prices in the domestic market.
