India: South African RB3 coal sold at INR 12,000/t at Vizag Port

In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 NAR) coal was sold at INR 12,000/t at Vizag Port, while RB2 (5500 NAR) trades remained muted amid limited stocks. Portside prices of South African coal have been on a rising spree over the last few months as vessel arrivals remain weak, with only 422,293 t of coal scheduled to arrive during 19-21 Jan’22, CoalMint data shows.
