India: South African RB3 coal booked at INR 14,000/t at Krishnapatnam Port

In a confirmed deal, 3,000 t of South African RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) coal was booked at INR 14,000/t at Krishnapatnam Port. Another deal of mid-CV RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) coal was concluded at INR 16,500/t. RB3-grade offers at Haldia Port were heard at INR 14,300/t. Sponge iron manufacturers continue making small parcel bookings of South African coal to blend with Indian/Russian coal.
