India: South African RB2 traded at INR 17,000/t at Paradip Port

In a confirmed deal, 1,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 kcal/kg NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 17,000/t at Paradip Port while in another deal, 2,000 t was booked at INR 17,400/t at Ennore Port. Amid increasing blending with Russian coal, sponge iron manufacturers are placing small parcel bookings. Prices of RB3 (4800 kcal/kg NAR) grade are assessed at INR 15,000/t.
