In various confirmed deals heard today, South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at an average of INR 15,500/t at Gangavaram and Vizag ports as against INR 17,000/t on 22 Oct’21. While portside prices have fallen in line with a drop in imported coal prices, Indian buyers continue to be in wait and watch mode and are buying small quantities, as per reports.
