Amid limited enquiries, one rake of South African RB2 (5,500 NAR) grade coal was recently sold at INR 8,000/t ex-Vizag, while RB3 (4,800 NAR) coal was sold at INR 6,700/t ex-Gangavaram (excluding cess and GST). Despite the increase in RB1 import prices and subsequent elevated offers for portside stocks, buying interest remains low amid sluggish demand and availability of cheaper domestic coal in India.
