India: South African RB2 coal traded at INR 18,500/t at Gangavaram

In a confirmed deal, 8,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal has been sold at INR 18,500/t ex-Gangavaram, while another 3,000 t has been sold at INR 18,200/t at Krishnapatnam Port. Amid resilient portside prices and escalating import prices, enquiries from sponge iron manufacturers continue to remain largely limited.
