India: South African RB2 coal sold at INR 19,300/t ex-Vizag

In a confirmed deal, six rakes of S. African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal were sold at INR 19,300/t, while another two rakes were sold at INR 19,500/t ex-Vizag on strong demand from sponge iron manufacturers. Large traders continue to offer coal at higher rates, whereas smaller ones are heard selling at comparatively lower levels to avoid lifting charges and plot rent.
