In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of South African RB2 was sold at INR 11,500/t at Gangavaram Port. The imported RB1 prices are assessed at $117/t, FOB basis as on 2 Jan’22. However, prices are expected to rise amidst the recent ban by Indonesia on coal exports, informed market participants.
