India: South African RB2 coal sold at INR 11,275/t at Gangavaram Port

Amid limited coal stocks at major ports, 2,000 t of South African RB2 coal was sold at INR 11,275/t at Gangavaram Port on 21 Dec’21. No major deals were reported at other ports due to limited vessel arrivals from South Africa. A total volume of 540,000 t of coal from that country is expected to arrive at Indian ports till 2 Jan’22, CoalMint data shows.
