Deals for a total of 12,000 t of South African RB2 coal were heard concluded today at INR 10,700/t at Gangavaram Port. The rise in portside prices is a fallout of limited stock at major ports and the continuous rise in prices of RB1 coal, which was trading at $138/t FOB RBCT on 13 Dec’21. RB1 prices have risen by $7/t w-o-w.
