India: South African RB2 coal prices rise marginally at Gangavaram port

In a confirmed deal, 4,000 t of South African RB2 coal was sold at INR 10,500/t at Gangavaram Port against INR 10,200/t on 3 Dec’21. A few sellers were heard offering at even INR 10,800/t. This rise in prices came in the wake of limited stocks of 1.21 mn t at the port on 2 Dec’21, down 12% w-o-w.
