In a confirmed deal, 10,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade coal was sold at INR 9,500/t at Vizag port. In fact, a few sellers are heard holding offers in anticipation of a further rise in prices as the landed cost of RB2 coal for Sept’21 shipment is being evaluated at around INR 10,600/t, informed participants.
