In a recent deal, 12,000 t of South African RB2 (5500 NAR) grade thermal coal was booked at a discount of $18/t to the November API4 index on 1 Nov’21. The cargo will arrive at Dhamra port in Dec and the freight charge between RBCT and Dhamra is assessed at $23/t. South African RB1 (6000 NAR) coal prices have corrected over 45% to $130/t after peaking in Oct.
