South African iron ore lump (Fe 64%) import offers rose by $2/t w-o-w to $144/t CNF Kandla on 24 Jan’24 following a slight uptick in global iron spot and future prices. The benchmark Fe 62% fines index increased by $3/t w-o-w to $132/t CFR China on 23 Jan. Meanwhile, Indian buyers remained cautious, not ready to accept current offers for South African lumps.
