South African iron ore lump (Fe 64%) import offers fell by $6/t w-o-w to $135/t CNF Kandla on 7 Feb’24 following sluggish market sentiments in China. Indian buyers were expecting more $15/t drop in prices to import the lumps from South Africa. The benchmark Fe 62% fines index decreased by $9/t w-o-w to $126/t CFR China on 6 Feb amid the Lunar holidays.
