India’s import offers for South African iron ore lumps (Fe 64%) fell by $1.5/t w-o-w to $113/t CNF Kandla on 18 Dec’24. Reportedly, inquiries were muted amid favourable domestic pellet prices. A few pellet deals were heard in Gujarat, concluded with sellers based in India’s eastern coast. China’s seaborne spot prices for iron ore (Fe 62%) fines declined by $1/t w-o-w to $105/t CFR on 17 Dec.
