India’s import offers for South African iron ore lumps (Fe 64%) rose by $4/t w-o-w to $112/t CNF Kandla on 16 Apr. No deals were heard from the Kandla region; however, south India-based buyers recently booked around 3 Supramax vessels with Fe 65% grade lumps at $110/t CFR. Meanwhile, China’s seaborne spot prices of iron ore (Fe 62%) fines increased $4/t w-o-w to $100/t CFR on 15 Apr.
