South African iron ore lump import offers into India have decreased tracking the slide in global iron ore prices, as per SteelMint reports. The current assessment for imported lump (Fe 65%) stands at around $190/t CNF Kandla, down $30/t w-o-w. Meanwhile, benchmark global iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices decreased by $15/t w-o-w to $166/t CNF China on 12 Aug’21 amid steel production curbs. Also, the spot iron ore lump premium has fallen from $0.4/dmtu to $0.36/dmtu in the past week.
