South African iron ore lump import offers have decreased tracking the decline in global iron ore prices. The assessment for lump (Fe 64%) stands at $100/t CNF Kandla. Benchmark global iron ore fines (Fe 62%) prices have fallen by $4.70/t, w-o-w, to $97.60/t CNF China on 30 Aug. The spot iron ore lump premium fell from $0.1/dry mtu last week to $0.096/dmtu this week.
