Portside offers for South African thermal coal in India held steady this week, with RB2 (5500 NAR) assessed at INR 7,800/t and RB3 (4800 NAR) at INR 6,800/t exw-Gangavaram, unchanged from last week. However, offers heard around INR 8,000-8,100/t ex for RB2 but deals are absent at higher side. Fall in sponge prices in the last few days keep the portside offer under pressure.
