India: SMIORE’s manganese ore output rises y-o-y in Q1FY’25

Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores (SMIORE) recorded manganese ore production at 85,000 t in Q1FY’25, up by 18% from Q1FY’24. Sales of the same rose by 86% y-o-y. Ferro alloys production stood at 6,464 t, down by 21% y-o-y in Q1FY’25 as against 8,196 t in Q1FY’24. However, sales of ferro alloys increased by 35% to 9,396 t y-o-y in Q1FY’25 which was 6,937 t in Q1FY’24.
