India: SMIORE’s iron ore output, sales jump by over 100% y-o-y in H1FY’25

• Sandur Manganese and Iron Ores Limited (SMIORE) recorded iron ore production of 1.96 mnt* in H1FY’25 (Apr-Sep’24), a significant y-o-y rise of 142% as against 0.81 mnt* in H1FY’24.
• Iron ore sales rose by 112% y-o-y to 1.679 mnt* in H1FY’25 compared to 0.792 mnt* in the same period last year.
• Meanwhile, output increased by 26% q-o-q to 1.091 mnt* in Q2FY’25 as against 0.869 mnt* in Q1FY’25.
