SMIORE has scheduled an auction for 25,000 t of iron ore lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 54.30-57.70%) from its Sandur mines in Karnataka on 20 Jul’24. The floor prices are yet to be declared, which include royalty, DMF and NMET. In the last auction on 11 July, 12,000 t fines (Fe 55.70%) got booked at INR 2,980/t while 20,000 t lumps (5-40 mm, Fe 54.3-59.2%) got booked at INR 4,040-5,890/t.
