India: Small parcel of mid-CV Indonesian coal sold at INR 13,300/t at Mangalore Port

Amid elevated prices of mid-CV 5700 kcal/kg GAR Indonesian coal, a small parcel trade of 500 t was concluded at INR 13,300/t at Mangalore Port. FOB prices for the grade are at $182/t today. Strong buying appetite of European and Japanese traders kept high-CV Indonesian coal prices higher despite weak Chinese demand.
