Shyam Steel Works (P) Ltd (Group of Shyam Steel Industries Ltd) received environmental clearances (EC) for enhancing pellet plant production capacity to 2.4 mnt/year in Purulia, West Bengal. The company has received EC for expansion plans of:
- Iron ore beneficiation plant to 3 mnt/year.
- DRI kilns to 1.68 mnt/year.
- Blast furnace to 0.7875 mnt/year.
