Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, one of the leading steel manufacturers in West Bengal, reported its consolidated sales volumes in a recent BSE filing for the financial year FY 2025-26.
Raw material segment
In the pig iron segment, sales volume witnessed a sharp increase of 596.56% to 660,237 tonnes (t) in FY’26, compared to 94,785 t in FY’25, driven by production ramp-up. Average realisations stood at INR 33,932/t in FY’26, marginally up by 0.37% from INR 33,808/t in FY’25. On a monthly basis, sales increased by 108.63% to 94,319 t in March compared to 45,209 t in February. However, realisations declined by 1.27% to INR 37,486/t in March 2026.
