Induction grade rebar prices continued to fall due to limited buying inquiries and trade activities. Price fell by INR 200-1,200/t on a d-o-d basis. However, in a few specified markets in Western and Southern region, manufacturers held their offers and offered trade discounts, as per the market requirement, SteelMint learned from trade sources. Near term prices may remain weak mainly in few markets of Western region due to lack of demand and higher inventories at mills.
