India: Secondary rebar prices decrease by up to INR 900/t ($12)

Induction grade rebar prices dropped further by INR 100-900/t d-o-d in most of the major Indian markets, SteelMint assessment shows. The prices decreased owing to rising inventories at mills and limited transactions of rebar steel in the market, sources shared. As per trade sources, in a few specified locations of Central and Western India, manufacturers held their offers and gave trade discounts depending upon the number of buying inquiries and market requirements.
