India: Secondary rebar price decreases by up to INR 900/t ($12)

The induction grade rebar market witnessed limited trades and buying inquiries in most of the regions today as well with prices declining by INR 100-900/t except in the Western region. Limited demand and drop in semi-finished steel prices led to decline in rebar prices. However, in Western region, despite moderate trades, manufacturers kept their offers stable to settle the previous orders’ delivery, sources reported to SteelMint.
