Induction grade rebar prices fluctuated by INR 100-200/t d-o-d in North, East and Central regions, while in the few markets in Gujarat and Maharashtra (Western region), manufacturers increased their rebar offer by up to INR 300/t owing to slight recovery in buying inquiries and rising melting scrap and billet prices in the region. However, it was observed that most of the manufacturers in the major locations, kept their offer stable due to uncertain market direction following fluctuations in semi-finished steel prices and moderate trades activities, sources reported to SteelMint.
